Welcome to the International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs, ICCHP 2026!
I am delighted to welcome everyone to ICCHP 2026! I have been attending the conference regularly since 1994 and from the very first conference I knew I had found my community in this group of researchers, teachers, practitioners, policy makers, users and anyone else interested in assistive technologies and accessibility.
It is the most welcoming and inclusive community you can imagine, a wonderful opportunity to network, hear about the latest research, practice and policy, share your own work if you wish, and meet people with similar interests from all over the world. If this is your first ICCHP conference, I warmly welcome you to our community, if you are returning, welcome home!
