Scientific Contributions & Submissions

1. Springer Proceedings (LNCS Series)

📚 For scientific and technical contributions in Assistive Technology, eAccessibility, and eInclusion.

  • Published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), indexed by: Web of Science (CPCI-S), Scopus, EI Compendex, ACM DL, DBLP, Google Scholar, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt MATH and IO-Port.
  • Peer-reviewed (acceptance rate ~60%)
  • 📅 Deadlines:
    • Extended Abstract (3–5 pages): February 9, 2026
    • Notification of Acceptance: March 23, 2026
    • Final Camera-Ready Paper* (6–8 pages **, LNCS format): April 16, 2026
  • 📝 Submission must include:
    • An extended abstract in PDF/DOCX format (max. 10MB) prepared for double blind review.
      (not containing any info on authors’ names and / or institutions)
  • 🔐 Double-blind review by 3 experts.

  • 📂 Upload 1 zip and a pdf (final paper files + copyright form).
  • 🗣️ Presentation: 20 minutes at the conference (upload in PPTX or accessible PDF from July 1, 2026).

2. Open Access Compendium (OAC)

📘 For interdisciplinary and practice-oriented work in accessibility, policy, education, health, etc.

  • Published in the digital edition of the ICCHP Open Access Compendium: “Future Perspectives on Accessibility, AT & (e)Inclusion”
  • Suitable for concept papers, models, reports, and policy or user-centered research.
  • 📅 Deadlines :
    • Extended Abstract (3–5 pages): February 9, 2026
    • Notification of Acceptance: March 23, 2026
    • Final Camera-Ready Paper (4–8 pages, OAC format): April 16, 2026
  • 📝 Submission must include:
    • A short abstract (≤1500 characters, form-based)
    • A blind, extended abstract in PDF/DOCX format (max. 10MB)
  • 🔐 Double-blind review by 3 experts.
  • 📂 Upload 1 zip and a pdf:
    • Final .zip with DOCX + PDF + figures
    • .PDF: signed copyright form
  • 🗣️ Presentation: 20 minutes at the conference (upload in PPTX or accessible PDF).

3. Special Thematic Sessions

Focused sessions on specific topics of interest, open to both LNCS and OAC contributions. Encourage interdisciplinary and cross-stakeholder exchange.

  • 📅 Deadlines:
    • STS Proposal Submission: January 26, 2026
    • Introductory Paper to your STS (6–8 pages, LNCS or OAC format): April 16, 2026
  • 📝 Details:
    • STSs announced on ICCHP website; contributors select STS during paper submission.
    • Acceptance requires ≥4 papers.
    • Review Committee evaluates and negotiates overlaps.
    • STS Chairs promote sessions in their networks.
    • Chairs decide one publishing option (LNCS or OAC) for all STS contributions.
    • Optional: Chairs may publish an introductory paper at no extra cost.

🧾 General Requirements

  • At least one registered author per paper is required.
  • Additional paper fees apply for multiple submissions by the same author.
  • All presentations must follow accessibility standards (e.g., W3C/WAI Presentation Guidelines)

All submissions will be evaluated based on:

  • Relevance to ICCHP themes
  • Scientific quality & innovation
  • Originality and user involvement
  • Clarity, organization, and contribution to the state of the art
