One Stop Service Point for participants with specific needs

ICCHP is committed to accomodate people with disabilities.
Before ICCHP, please get in touch with icchp@jku.at indicating “Specific Need Support” to organise and arrange all possible issues in advance and don´t forget to check the box "I request specific Needs Support" during the registration process.

At the ICCHP Information (“Info”) Desk, you will get help and support during the whole conference. Please get in touch whenever there is something to be arranged for you! Availability of the info desk can be checked following http://www.icchp.org/onsite-16

University of Linz

As a rather young University, Johannes Kepler University of Linz has a unique campus close to the inner city.
All publicly available buildings and rooms used for ICCHP 2016 are wheelchair accessible.

Arbeiter-Samariterbund

The “Arbeiter-Samariterbund” is a paramedics service also offering special transport to people with disability.

Specific Needs Assistants

Upon request and prior notification / negotiation, a guidance service will be available at Hotel Sommerhaus assisting you at breakfast.
If required, this guidance service will guide you to the University Campus after breakfast, departing 15 minutes prior to the start of the programme (assistance for the way back to Tramway / Hotel Sommerhaus upon request, departing 15´after programme ends).
Our staff will also help you to find your way at the University Campus.
If you need help during the conference, please don’t hesitate to ask for help. You will find assistance at ICCHP 2016 Information Desk.

Induction Loop

Audio Induction Loop Systems will be available at / during

Sign Language Interpretation

From English to ISL (International Sign Language)
We will offer a translation of
- Conference Opening,
- Keynotes
- Talks at Gala dinner and
- Selected Sessions (clearly indicated in the Programme)

The assignment of translated sessions is not fixed yet. We may arrange Sign Language Interpretation of specific lectures.
Please get in touch and make your proposals until June 20, 2016 (latest) as the sign language interpreters need time to prepare.
